Today, at the winter solstice, we take you on a walk at sunsrise and sunset. Winter solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. It marks the return of the light, as from now on the days will get longer again. Join both walks to get the full experience!
On this special day it’s traditional to get up for the sunrise to get the most out of this special day. We go to where we will see a spectacular sunrise at a very special sacred location to welcome in the longest day of the year! Here Ankhana will guide a short meditation, so you can fully take in this wonderful moment.
Please bring something to sit on and dress warm as it can be chilly in the morning. We'll provide a hot infusion to warm you up.
To end the day in style, make sure to come to the sunset walk as well.

Cala Llonga Beach on the right hand side when looking out to sea.
RATING: MEDIUM
With a good climb to the top for about 30 minutes on good paths but with loose stones underfoot. Total distance 6 kms, total experience 2.5 hours.
Price: The walk is by donation of €10 to €20 per person.
You must reserve and pay for your walk, you can not just turn up.
