The festivity of the Patron Saint San Antonio Abad is celebrated on 17 January, which means the big day of San Antonio. Throughout the day several activities will be held from sports, processions, animal blessing, traditional dances, live music and much more.
If you want to know the whole plan for the day, here it goes:
9:00 Petanque Tournament Fiestas Sant Antoni. Can Bonet and Plaza España tracks. In charge of the Petanque Club San Antonio.
12:00 Solemn Mass followed by procession, blessing of animals, parade of traditional carts, traditional dances by the Colla Brisa de Portmany and tasting of fritters and wine for everybody. In front of the Town Hall.
13:00 SantAntoniTrucks Festival. In the port with live music, food trucks and much more.
16:00 Live music.
18:00 Great and overwhelming shows "Paris Africa" and "Welcome to the movie" by the professional dance company APE Dream Dance.
20:00 Poetry Night organised by the Institut d'Estudis Eivissencs in cooperation with the Gastronomic and Cultural Association «Sa Xacota de Portmany». In Los Gatos bar.
21:30 Concert of the SMOKING STONES. The best tribute band to THE ROLLING STONES. At the end of the port, on the Municipal tent.
