On September 14 at 21:00, the historic Baluard de Sant Pere in Ibiza’s old town will host Iré a Santiago, a unique free concert blending Spanish heritage and Cuban soul.
Directed by composer and violinist Ramsés Puente Matos, the performance pays tribute to Federico García Lorca’s deep connection to Cuba and to Santiago de Cuba, Puente’s hometown, where his artistic roots began before moving to Spain over twenty years ago.
Featuring sopranos Lucía Martín Cartón (Spain) and Yadira Ferrer Rey (Cuba), along with a chamber ensemble, the evening will fuse Spanish folklore and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, creating a vibrant cross-cultural musical journey.
