Jazz Point Ibiza, now in its sixth edition, is once again bringing some of the biggest names on the international jazz scene to perform here in Ibiza.
On Friday, 17 October, at 20:30, Muriel Grossmann and her stellar quartet, will be performing at Teatro Ibiza, in Ibiza Town, with an eclectic set of saxophonist Muriel's compositions.
The group includes Radomir Milojkovic on guitar, Abel Boquera on Hammond B3 organ, and Uros Stamenkovic on drums, and as special guest Cristina Morales on percussion. They will be joined by the Big Band Ciutat d’Eivissa for a powerful second set that includes a guest appearance by Omar Kabir on trumpet.
On Saturday, 18 October, at 21:00 "New York City/Ibiza Jazz Explosion", at Teatro Ibiza in Ibiza Town:
Ricky Ford and Eric Person - on saxophone - team up with Omar Kabir (trumpet), Tal Cohen (keyboard), Doug Weiss (bass), and Marc Miralta (drums). They will dazzle you with the music of the greatest jazz composers of all time: Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk and more.
