Fri 25 Sept, 2026, from 19:30
Where: Ocean Drive Talamanca, Talamanca, Ibiza
Friday 25 September from 19:30, Ocean Drive Talamanca once again places contemporary culture front and centre as it hosts the OD Art Awards. Established as a highlight on the island’s cultural calendar, this annual event brings together local creators, art enthusiasts, residents, and visitors for an engaging evening dedicated to fresh artistic perspectives.
The Concept: "Repair to create" places a spotlight on the challenges of island life. This year's theme directly confronts our throwaway culture where items are routinely discarded rather than fixed. Taking inspiration from kintsugi, the traditional Japanese technique of repairing broken ceramics with gold, participating artists were challenged to view fractures and scars not as flaws to hide, but as essential parts of a new story.
Expect a thought-provoking collection spanning multiple disciplines. Works on display feature upcycled materials found across Ibiza, transformed seasonal waste, reassembled objects, and deep conceptual explorations into emotional, community, and environmental healing.
Guests are invited to browse the newly commissioned artwork, enjoy the lively social atmosphere, meet the artists behind the pieces, and attend the live presentation ceremony as the OD Art Award 2026 winners are announced.
Entry is free and open to all.
