On Saturday, 28 June, you can experience the traditional dance of Ibiza, the ball pagès, from 21:00 on the village square in the beautiful village of Santa Gertrudis.
Accompanied by traditional instruments like drums, flutes, and castanets, the Ibizencos perform the dances in their original costumes.
The ball pagès is still deeply rooted in the island's communities, and many towns and villages have their own folklore groups. From small children to seniors, the whole family takes part in these traditions.
Furthermore, for the Festival Folklórico de Santa Gertudis, other groups are invited from mainland Spain and other countries.
In 2025, you can enjoy shows by groups from Santa Gertrudis, Murcia in Spain and North Macedonia.
