The Cultural Centre of Jesús will be the stage for the third edition of the Chamber Music Festival of Santa Eulària des Riu, taking place over the weekends of October.
The programme is the following:
- Sunday 11 October at 19:00: Duet Marí - Herrera: 'Cordes a escena' formed by Mònica Marí, (cello) Rubén Herrera (violin). The programme features works by Corelli, Glière, Saint-Saëns, Bizet, Sally Beamish and Händel-Halvorsen, including La Folia, Danse Macabre and selections from Carmen.
- Sunday 18 October at 19:00: 'Spanish Brass: Essentials'. Carlos Benetó (trumpet), Juanjo Serna (trumpet), Manuel Pérez, (French horn), Inda Bonet (trombone) and Sergio Finca (tuba). The quintet revisits highlights from over three decades of music-making and more than 35 recordings, showcasing its journey between tradition and innovation in brass chamber music.
- Saturday 25 October at 17:30: (educational concert) Art3: 'Les fades dels somnis'. Lucía Herranz (voice), Rocío Osuna (dance), Elvira Ramón (piano) and Úrsula Pomar (flute). A family show combining music, dance and fantasy, featuring Disney songs and film soundtracks while exploring values such as friendship, respect and nature.
- Sunday 31 October at 19:00: Duet Vives - Laliga: 'Retrats d’amor'. Mar Vives (soprano) and Marc Laliga (piano). A journey through different expressions of love, featuring French, Spanish, German and Italian repertoire by composers including Fauré, Debussy, Poulenc, Gounod, Turina, Strauss, Puccini and Verdi.
Tickets are already on sale, €10 in advance and €12 at the door.
