Running Ibiza

Enjoy Ibiza as a terrific place to run whether you are a seasoned runner or an absolute beginner - plus take in local culture and history on the way.

An accidental runner, though by no means one that lacks dedication to the sport, Donna Warren has been running for the past 15 years and is a qualified UK Athletics Run Leader. She set up Running Ibiza in 2018 to show existing runners the other side of the island and to help beginners, regardless of fitness level, age, size shape or gender.

Running activities are available for all kinds of runner from the absolute beginner to the more seasoned. The Ibiza Town Running Tours, offer two routes of 8 or 5 km of distance. In these tours, you will also have the chance to take in the beauty of some of the older, historic parts of the island capital. On the way, Donna will deliver interesting facts and information about the places you run past: exercise and culture, all at the same time.

Running Ibiza also gives you its Trail Running offering that's tailored to you, for any distance up to 20 km. You can run along coastline, in the countryside, up and down hills or on the flat - all the time learning about great points of interest and local landmarks. Donna will discuss all your requirements beforehand to make sure you get the most out of it, physically and culturally.

Beginners will love the ‘Couch to 5k' course, which is the best way to get started. You'll be led carefully, be motivated, inspired and soon be whizzing along with the wind in your hair, feeling a new kind of exhilaration. Whatever your starting point, Donna will work with you to make running a joy.

Running Ibiza also offers a free weekly running group with a 6.5 km and a 10 km route from Ibiza Town every Saturday morning (September to June only). Anyone who can run this distance (without stopping) is welcome to join in.
