Playa d'en Bossa is situated midway between Ibiza Town and the airport and is famous for the amazing variety of things to do, the gorgeous, sandy beach, Space and Bora Bora.
There really is nothing quite like miles of soft, golden sand, and if lazing on the beach is your idea of a fantastic holiday, then Playa d'en Bossa will really appeal. There are many water sports centres on the beach offering Catamaran sailing, windsurfing, banana-boats, water ski, pedaloes and diving. There are plenty of bars and eateries on the beach itself. Cocktail Bars, Irish and English Pubs, Spanish cafés, pre-club disco bars... the main strip along Playa d'en Bossa has to be seen to be believed. Take a stroll along the main strip and you can't fail to be swept away by the lively vibe and holiday feeling. Prices are very reasonable too.

Generally speaking the restaurants in Playa d'en Bossa cater for simpler tastes, but there is a wide selection and it won't cost much either. Read more about Restaurants in Playa d'en Bossa.
Playa d'en Bossa is a perfect holiday destination for families with kids of all ages. The beach is supervised by lifeguards and is safe and shallow for bathing. There is plenty of room of beach volleyball and other games too.
There are several safe, play- and amusement-parks with trampolines, bouncy castles, climbing areas and merry-go-rounds, little electric racing cars and lots of other games. There is a Bowling centre with trampolines, mini-golf, tenpin bowling and a rodeo, and plenty of pubs with fun and games for young and old.
During the evenings, a mini-Train ferries holiday makers to and from each end of Playa d'en Bossa (just like Thomas the Tank Engine!), and there is a large expanse of land opposite the Jet apartments with carousels, and other bouncy play areas, all illuminated at night.
You'll also find plenty of great value eateries where you can feed the family without breaking the bank.
There are many souvenir and beach-ware shops. Do pay a visit to La Sirena for some great value fashion and sports labels (Diesel, Tommy Hilfiger, O'Neill and others) at reduced prices.
Taxis are an economical form of transport between resorts, especially when shared. All taxis now run on a meter-system.
There are regular, air-conditioned buses between Playa d'en Bossa and Ibiza Town, Las Salinas and Es Cavallet beach and the airport. You must change at Ibiza Town for other destinations such as San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. During the night, the hourly Disco Bus takes clubbers from Playa d'en Bossa to all the other major clubs, back again.
In general, department stores and hipermarkets stay open all day to late night, smaller shops from 9am to 1.30pm and 4.30pm to 8.30pm, or 10pm in high summer. Most shops close on Sundays and Fiestas.
