Ah, Defected - the gospel of House music. The authority on House has grown into something far bigger than anyone could have imagined. The original home of four-to-the-floor beats is responsible for soundtracking countless dancefloors memories around the world since 1999.
While the brand may have drifted slightly over the past few years, moving between venues on the island, its new home at Chinois Ibiza feels like the perfect fit.
An intimate setting where Defected’s loyal community can come together to celebrate the music, reconnect with the culture and continue the label’s legacy. Through the party's evolution, one thing has remained constant has been its sonic identity. Its music policy has never wavered.
From legendary House pioneers to Defected favourites and emerging talent, the label continues to strike the perfect balance between heritage and forward-thinking programming. This summer is no exception. Here are five standout performances to catch in summer 2026.

Ea-zy!
DJ EZ
25 June
Tottenham legend and undisputed king of UKG, DJ EZ is easily a standout performance of the summer.
Touching down in late June, he brings something a little different from Defected’s usual straight-up House sound. Of course, House music will still be ever present, but that’s the beauty of an EZ set, you genuinely never know where he’ll take things next.

Family affair
Shermanology
20 August
Dutch-Curaçaoan siblings Shermanology have built a long-standing relationship with Defected over the years. Made up of brother Andy and sister Dorothy, the pair have been blending House, Soul and Electronica with their own powerful vocals since forming in 2009.
Known for their crazy charisma both in the studio and behind the decks, the family-knit have released huge tracks for Defected, including the anthem Sometimes, while also collaborating with other label affiliates such as Todd Edwards and Rudimental.
We can't promise, but we do recon you can expect a little live sing along from Dotty on the day.

No stone - or genre - left unturned
Bradley Zero b2b Carl Craig
10 September
In September, a rare back-to-back sighting comes in the form of Leeds-born, London-based Bradley Zero and Detroit Techno pioneer Carl Craig.
Founder of Rhythm Section and a tastemaker on NTS radio, Bradley Zero has become one of the UK’s most respected selectors, known for seamlessly mixing Jazz, Broken Beat, House and Soul. Sharing the booth with him is Carl Craig, one of the defining figures of Detroit’s early wave of Techno innovators. Equally, C² is no one trick pony and can play across the board.
We love it when a party throws a truly unexpected b2b pairing into the mix. This one is going to be packed with musical depth, left turns and raw underground energy.

Transatlantic cultural exchange
Harry Romero b2b Cinthie
17 September
This one feels seriously underrated, as Harry “Choo Choo” Romero goes back-to-back with Berlin-based baddie Cinthie, for what could easily become one of the best sets of the season.
Romero remains one of House music’s most consistent DJs and producers, whilst arguably also being an unsung hero. Meanwhile, Cinthie has built a following through her Elevate record store and label, alongside regular appearances at Panorama Bar.
I caught him at Nervous Records’ Chinois takeover back in April and his selections and mixing technique completely blew me away. Paired with Cinthie’s unwavering, groove-led energy, this set has all the ingredients to be something special.

Love, respect & admiration
Kerri Chandler
8 October
Kerri Chandler brings a touch of class to Chinois at the closing party.
Widely recognised as one of the architects of the New Jersey Deep House sound, Chandler’s influence on dance music is near peerless. Each set is meticulously delivered with the kind of authenticity only a true pioneer can offer.
Few names carry the same level of clout in House music circles as Kerri's, and there's a reason for that. Not many artists in this industry have the catalogue, passion and drive that the veteran does. At this point, we're no longer surprised he keeps getting better.
This one is not to be missed.
