Hippy Market Punta Arabí reopens on May 8

A much-loved Ibiza institution, the giant handicrafts market in Es Caná is back for the 2024 season.

An Ibiza landmark and one of the most emblematic handicraft bazaars in the Balearic Islands, Hippy Market Punta Arabí opens its doors again on May 8. Located in the popular resort of Es Caná, close to Santa Eulalia, it is launching the 2024 season with a very special pre-opening event under the motto, "more Ibiza than ever." An integral part of Ibiza’s past and, in particular, the history of the hippies who flocked here in the 60s and 70s, this fun, multicultural venue will open its doors at 10:00.

The market is home to over 300 handicraft stalls, restaurants, bars, and a kids’ zone. A magnet for performers, musicians and DJs from all over the world, it will feature such artists as Eva Pacífico, Ángel Wolf, Jonás Molina Band, and Alih Maná.

Owing to ongoing refurbishment of the facilities, the market’s restaurants will remain closed until June 5, when a big party will be held to mark the venue’s complete opening.
