New mezcals, new dishes

The innovative showcase for the unique and delicious Mexican spirit, mezcal and fusion food restaurant La Mezcalería is back for 2016, this Thursday 28 April 2016, with a range of new mezcals, spirits and new menu items.

Launched in 2014, this is the venue's third season mission for this unique gastronomic experience. The food is a combination of Mexican and European dishes and flavours, dubbed Mexiterranean, which you will see perfectly expressed in its trio of guacamoles, one traditional, one with beetroot and one with apple, basil and broccoli.

It is the one and only Mezcalería in Ibiza and one of the first in Europe to specialise in 100% artisanal premium quality mezcal. La Mezcalería makes great use of healthy seafood in its dishes like ceviche and turbot sashimi and other cuisine combinations in the gourmet tacos or seaweed and cactus salad.

If you are new to mezcal and indeed the restaurant, you can book yourself on one of their 1-hour guided Tasting and Pairing experiences from 7pm to 10pm. This will take you on a tour of some delicious mezcals with their rich smokey flavour combined with specially selected menu dishes.

Ibiza has a lot of exceptional experiences and this is one of them. Try special potions and mixes. There's the aphrodisiac mezcal and oysters if you are in a romantic mood or you could sample one of their excellent mezcal-based cocktails. Think flavours like, violet, chilli, lavender oe grapefruit with fine smokey mezcal. Or try their signature michelada, a tasty Clamato and beer mix that gets your palate ready for the night.
