Although the start of the holiday season proper occurs on May 1st the build up to this opening has already commenced.
There is already a slow trickle of tourists arriving on the island, surprised by the empty beaches and peace and quiet. By the Easter weekend a total of 14% of Ibiza's hotels will be open to welcome visitors from Spain, Europe, and beyond.
The 41 hotels which will open their doors have over 12,000 places available for happy holidaymakers. Here's to a good season!
