Art Initiatives, an organisation dedicated to fostering cultural exchange through contemporary art auctions and exhibitions, will hold a charity auction on 4 October at Roca House Restaurant, Roca Llisa, Ibiza. Founded by Johanna Driest and Zuzana Kopecká, Art Initiatives provides a unique platform for artistic appreciation and cultural dialogue between local and international communities.
The event will combine gastronomy, music, and art: guests will enjoy a three-course lunch by Executive Chef José Luis Jiménez Bernal, accompanied by the voice of French singer Mouniette. The auction will be hosted by journalist and presenter Jo Youle, featuring works by ten national and international artists exploring identity, memory, and introspection. In addition, there will be a talk with one of the participating artists.
All donations will be donated to non-profit organisations: One Fine Day and the Anno’s One Fine Day Arts Centre in Kibera, Nairobi, which empowers children and young people through art, and, for the first time, the AIF Asperger Association of Ibiza and Formentera, which supports children with Asperger’s and their families.
