On Sunday, 18 October, at 10:00, San Antonio Town Council is organising the "Sant Antoni Walks Against Cancer" sports event along the Fountain Square, Passeig de ses Fonts.
The event is organised in collaboration with different charities working to tackle cancer on the island of Ibiza, with the aim of raising funds for all of them.
It features a 3 km walk and a 5 km race through the centre of San Antonio. Participants will be split into eight different categories: Under 18, Under 20, Under 23, Senior, Master 35, Master 40, Master 45, Master 50, and Master 55+. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category.
Joan Barbé and Iván Doménech, well-known musicians, singers, and guitarists from the island, will perform at the event in support of the fight against cancer.
The entry fee is €10 for people over 16 and €5 for those under 16. All proceeds will go to the participating charities.
