After a long and exciting season, one of the most popular places on San Antonio's famous Sunset Strip also announces its Closing Party. Café Mambo, the premier sunset spot, finishes the summer season with two nights of celebration on Friday, 16, and Saturday, 17 October from 18:00.
Kicking off the closing weekend on Friday 16 October, crowd favourite Dj Oliver returns behind the decks, and on Saturday 17 October Marshall Jefferson delivers his infectious Ibiza energy. Joining them are Mambo’s own Jason Bye, Ryan McDermott, Gareth Stirling and Juanito Chanclas and Andy Baxter, setting the tone for a night that embodies the true spirit of Mambo.
Always a popular occasion that unites tourists and locals alike, do not hesitate to join. Expect dancers, delicious cocktails, great food, precious views to the sunset and an amazing environment.
As with most years, turnout is likely to be huge, so reservations are advised. Otherwise, be sure to get there early to secure your place for this last dance as the sun sets. The sunset is circa 19:00 on these dates.
