Enjoy a unique trip to the beautiful island of Formentera on a striking 5-star catamaran, featuring comfy padded seats and even premium VIP beds - the last word in comfort and style.

Setting sail from Marina Botafoch in Ibiza Town, enjoy a welcome cocktail, prepared by the Formentera Explorer's professional team, before setting sail and gliding over the crystalline sea, taking in breathtaking views on the way to paradise.

Your first stop takes you next to the pristine islet of Espalmador, only accessible by boat. Here, you can bathe in the sea before tucking in to a delicious on-board lunch of freshly cooked paella with salad, made using the finest local products. Foodies can stay on board for a show cooking display of how to prepare this authentic Spanish dish.

Then it's on to anchor off the exquisite beach of Playa Illetes on Formentera, voted the best in Europe, for a swim and snorkel stop, where you can learn about the underwater flora and fauna from the on-board marine biologist. An excellent extra are the stand up paddle boards to take an exhilarating glide over the water's surface.

A free bar is available throughout the journey, serving water, soft drinks and juices, with a ticket option that includes 4 premium drinks of either beers, wines or spirits. Those looking for a more exclusive experience can book the VIP beds (4 adults max), for an upgraded service, a generous allowance of premium drinks and deeply comfortable beds.

This is the ideal trip to listen to soft sounds, see gorgeous nature, eat fine food and ultimately to relax at sea and unwind on this wonderful day out.

I had a wonderful time on the Formentera Explorer. The boat was all you can drink and the captain was excellent at making mojitos. He took the time to crush everything up perfectly. The paella was delicious and there was plenty for everyone and even seconds. The banana boat ride was fun. Formentera was beautiful and it was nice to swim there. I loved snorkeling there but wished there had been more fish. However the captain did throw something in that attracted some more fish. Not a lot of people danced on our boat but I got the impression that usually there is a lot of dancing. All in all everyone on our boat seemed to have a good time meeting lots of other people on the boat.
