Last year saw Sankeys visionary David Vincent bring the famed club from its roots back in Manchester UK to the back streets of Playa d'en Bossa as part of his mission to spread the brand globally. For it's debut season the club was well received with a vast amount of parties held at the club over the summer months such as Carnival, Monza and Full On Ferry.
The club returns this year, and judging by the Opening Fiesta parties they intend to increase their foothold on the island by flexing some serious musical might. With the 2012 season benefiting from an extension, the opening fiesta now takes place earlier, leaving more time for more parties. Perfect. We have the 2 opening parties followed by 3 great new parties for the 2012 season in Mulletover, Fuse, and Kaluki vs Krankbrother. That's 5 parties, 35 hours total. Clear your diary.
And to continue the numbers theme, we're looking at 16 headline artists, give or take depending on who you would consider, so that is at the very least 16 reasons to be down at Sankeys Ibiza at one or more of the events.
Confirmed parties this summer will include Bugged Out!, Monza, VIVa Music, Jackathon (Heidi), Mulletover, Leftroom and Departure... however details regarding the plans have yet to be fully announced. Rest assured we shall provide you with all the information you need as soon as we have it.
