Now in year two of his acclaimed Monday night residency at Pacha, Sonny Fodera has made himself very much at home. Each week, he tears up the club with his crowd-pleasers, classic anthems and platinum productions, reeling in a huge crowd of young ravers.
Next, he’s embarking a little side quest...
At the start of August, Sonny joins a very exclusive club by headlining Pacha sister-venue Destino Five Ibiza. He follows in the footsteps of fellow Pacha ICONS heavyweights Marco Carola and Solomun. Both been throwing their own parties at the iconic clifftop resort for years.
Does this mean Sonny’s reached official legend status?
Between 17:00 and 23:00 on Saturday 1 August, Sonny is bringing some fun guests to get this day-party well and truly botting off.
Joining him is his right-hand man, Danny Howard. The Radio 1 star will be joined by Franky Wah for a special back-to-back, before New York veteran Roger Sanchez steps into the limelight to bring some old school flavour to the party.
Warming things up will be Sonny's sister-in-law, Saffron Stone. She'll set the tone from doors open, with her high-energy get up and go.
In fact, this is a very special date, because everybody on the line-up is making their Destino Five debut. If you're yet to experience the outdoor treasure, maybe you can make it your debut as well?
The weekend also coincides with BBC Radio 1's annual visit - AKA the busiest weekend of summer. Expect wild scenes and soaring temperatures.
Can we expect a switch up in set from the hit-maker's usual Pacha practice? Or will he stick to what knows?
One thing that's guaranteed is that you'll hear all of his hit tracks that you know and love.
