San Antonio already owns the sunset game. The west coast has become Ibiza’s go-to spot for watching the sky put on a show. This much is widely acknowledged.
Every day of the week, it offers the best vantage points to watch the sun sink below the horizon, but on Wednesday 12 August there’s a serious plot twist...
Ibiza’s most photographed natural wonder is about to become the backdrop for something far rarer - a total solar eclipse. To make the occasion even more special, Feels Like Festival has announced a one-off outdoor party on the town's main public beach, S'Arenal.
Furthermore, a very special DJ is already confirmed. Franky Rizardo is the first name on the bill.
While he's been around for some time now, this year, Franky has really showed us what he's all about. He's taken Ibiza by storm with his first ever FLOW residency at Pacha. It proved so successful, two extra dates were added due to high demand.
You can also catch him playing scattered throughout the rest of summer at the island's biggest clubs. But, honestly, nothing is going to compare to this.
On the day, the eclipse will begin around 19:30, reaching its peak at approximately 20:30 and lasting for over a minute in total.
Basically, it’s Mother Nature’s headline set, with Franky Rizardo providing the soundtrack. Imagine hearing those iconic chords of Shinjuku live in the flesh, as this once in a lifetime spectacle occurs. There's only one word for it. Epic.
The full programme will continue to be revealed over the coming weeks, but if you want to secure the cheapest possible ticket, the time to buy is now. There are three further tiers with higher priced tickets to come. You'll just have to trust us that the full line-up is mega.
First release tickets are on sale now and available to buy below.
