About Carl Cox

Following a first season that left a lasting impression, dance music’s benevolent royalty Carl Cox returns to [UNVRS] for a second summer of Sundays. After several years absence, Coxy returned in 2025 to rock the island's very foundations.

Coxy had been missed and he wasted no time in reaffirming his connection to the Ibiza masses.

To speak of Carl Cox is to speak of authenticity and a lifelong dedication to music in all its forms. He pioneered mixing on three decks, and still finds time to champion the vinyl format while pushing himself artistically with hybrid performances that embrace improvisation.

The village of San Rafael is equidistant between Ibiza Town and San Antonio - a charming midpoint surrounded by rolling countryside and boasting unobstructed views of Dalt Vila's historic hilltop fortress in the distance.

Despite its laid-back charm, San Rafael has long held a storied place in Ibiza’s clubbing lore. Once home to the legendary 10,000 capacity Privilege, and before that, the world famous KU, the same coordinates now mark the spot of [UNVRS].

Set back from the motorway that connects Ibiza’s east and west coasts, [UNVRS] is easily accessible by car, private hire or public transport. Please respect local residents on ingress and egress by keeping noise to a minimum, avoiding loitering and disposing of litter responsibly.

Look up the word "longevity" in the dictionary, and you'll see Coxy's smile beaming back at you.

Away from music, Carl is known for his philanthropy, for being a petrolhead who loves his super-cars, and for living on an expansive ranch on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. All that, and still widely-regarded as the nicest person in dance music. What a guy.
