About Destino Five Ibiza's Grand Closing Party
Primarily, Destino Five Ibiza might be an adult-only five-star (recently upgraded from four in winter 2024-25), but it also boasts twelve party licences a summer. Those paying attention will have counted the Grand Opening in May and ten editions of Music On Daytime already in 2025.
One remains and it is reserved for the outdoor venue's Grand Closing Party.
Dripping in Pacha's unmistakable sexy signature, Destino Five bows out of another season in sophisticated style. For the farewell, the one and only Solomun makes his only outing here this year. It's going to be special.
When?
17:00 - 23:00 on Thursday 25 September
Where?
Destino Five Ibiza
Cap Martinet, 07819 Open in Google Maps
Cap Martinet is located on the clifftop above the resort of Talamanca, near to the village of Jesus and overlooking Ibiza Town. It has tremendous views of the Mediterranean, our capital's fortified old town Dalt Vila and even all the way to our Pityuses sister-island Formentera.
Destino Five aside, there are many luxury hotels and incredible private villas in the area. In Jesus, you will find a small but decent selection of bars, restaurants and shops, although Talamanca and Marina Bofafoc are more tourist-focused.
Although we might not recommend walking up the hill (although it has been done...), the walk down the hill back to Talamanca is breezy - especially after sun has gone down.
Who?
Full name: Mladen Solomun
Origins: Travnik, Bosnia (born), Hamburg, Germany (based)
Nicknames: The Balkan Stalwart, Solly
Best known for: Enjoying the odd after party, tea being his tipple of choice, being the driving force behind Diynamic Music, his +1 Pacha residency

Roll out the red carpet. It could only be one man at the helm for this special occasion. Solomun might be Pacha's regular Sunday night host, but we also rate his appearances up the road at sister-venue Destino Five Ibiza.
Although he used to be a regular fixture here, in recent years, he has been limited to a single date - making them all the more exclusive.
The big man will revel in the spotlight on the alfresco stage. No one commands the booth with the same authoritative presence. You're in a safe pair of hands - and few are bigger than the strapping Balkan's.
Also playing: TBA

What?
Hmmm. The talking point of many an online forum in recent years. Solomun has a record bag unlike any other DJ. There's little doubt that he is hard to categorise and he rarely stays still in one zone for too long.
When he burst onto the Ibiza scene in 2012, he was mostly playing Nu-Disco/Indie Dance at around the 110-115 bpm range. After earning his big spinning move from Sankeys to Pacha, he transitioned to a more melodic sound, which ramped up the tempo.
Nowadays, who can say what his sound is? It's probably the most mainstream it's even been.
You will certainly hear a lot of rap vocals, shouty Post-Punk lyrics and more aggressive basslines. His sound may have changed, but the number of bodies on the dancefloor? That has remained pretty consistent. Full and good-natured.
Why?
Five good reasons to go:
- Solomon's only date at Destino Five Ibiza this summer
- the first full venue closing of 2025 - closing party season begins here
- Pacha's glamorous glitterati will be dolled-up to the nines for the occasion
- chance to carry on at Destino Five's exclusive onsite club space, Tox
- alternatively, Defected takes place down the road at Pacha with MK, Henrik Schwarz and Kitty Amor - you can hop on the free shuttle bus and be whisked door-to-door

Continue your night with Defected at Pacha at the bottom of the hill
Also worth knowing:
Historically, closing parties sell out and we envision Destino Five's Grand Closing Party being no exception. Secure your ticket now, so you don't miss out.
Top tip: Parking is limited onsite and driving is largely discouraged. If you're having difficulty finding an available taxi, use the complimentary shuttle bus which picks up in Playa d'en Bossa and Ibiza Town.
