Decorated Puerto Rican artist and Latin Trap phenomenon Eladio Carrión lands at Ushuaïa Ibiza on Tuesday 17 June, with his first ever show at the 7,000 capacity beachfront party hotel.
Eladio Carrión has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Bad Bunny and Lil' Wayne. In that kind of company, no wonder his releases keep on climbing international charts.
He arrives on Ibiza fresh off the release of acclaimed new album, DON KBRN. The 22-track project is a return to the raw essence of rap, in a departure from the more melodic tones we heard on his fifth studio album, Sol María.
You could say that his music shares characteristics with that of Drake, just with that extra bit of Latin flavour and bounce.
Ushuaïa is the first stop on his Spanish tour, kicking off a a run of dates around the mainland. With only one date confirmed in the Balearics, this is a big opportunity to see Eladio Carrión live in the type of venue you cannot find anywhere else.
Evidently, Reggaeton's popularity shows no signs of fading.
Though not the main focus on the island, you can find its presence in all the usual places. Many smaller venues host nights dedicated to the genre, but over in Playa d'en Bossa, the powerhouse that is Ushuaïa secures the biggest stars of the genre for exclusive summer performances.
This headline performance is part of a series of Latin parties taking place at Ushuaïa this June. There are three exclusive shows with some of the biggest names from the worlds of Latin Trap and Spanish Hip-Hop.
Myke Towers is a week earlier on 10 June and Ozuna lands on 24 June.
