An old favourite and something new this week at Pikes

Flash is back tonight, while Fresco launches on Wednesday 17 May.

Now six seasons deep, Guy Williams' Flash returns to Pikes tonight for its first party of summer.

Residents S/A/M and Jon Jak, as well as Guy himself, can all be found behind the decks. Further support comes from Santanna Oush, Wes Baggaley and Shay Malt, whilst the exuberant Lucy Fizz is on hostess duties.

Between them, they will be playing the best in Acid and Jackin' House across Freddies and the Sunset Terrace in what's sure to be a busy affair. What a launch to the weekend.

Flash returns later in the summer, with a party each month. If you missed out this time, make sure you secure your guest list spots early for 16 June, 14 July, 18 August, 15 September and 5 October.

Coming up, you can count on special guest appearances from Gerd Janson, Sophie Lloyd and Mr Doris, while act of the moment Confidence Man play next month. Adonis, Homoelectric, Club Domani and Drop Barcelona link up with cross-promotions.

From the established to the new, Fresco gets its maiden outing at the infamous bolthole on Wednesday 17 May.

Promising Balearic grooves and hypnotic rhythms, Fresco breaks its duct with a headline set from Italo duo Dirty Channels in Freddies.

Lauded for their modern Disco masterpieces on Classic Music Co., Glitterbox Recordings and Athens Of The North, they are sure to sweep up a feverish mood on the intimate dancefloor formerly known as the Marrakesh suite.

Joining them is a second acclaimed two-piece and comeback kings, No Artificial Colours.

Outside, things are shaping up to be equally heady. Milou and Rusti look after things there.

Unlike Flash, which is sadly already full, the guest list for Fresco remains open for the time being. As with all parties at Pikes, registering your interest via its website is essential.
