Find out when your favourite beachside venue rolls out the red carpet.

April is going to be a big month on the island with the opening of many of its leading beach clubs around the island. We've put together a list packed with everything you need to know to see in the new season in style!

Cala Bonita

Open now

Overlooking the beach in the scenic cove of S'Estanyol, Cala Bonita (pretty bay) is a true find for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience set against one of those to-die-for Ibiza landscapes. Off the beaten track, yet just minutes away from Ibiza Town, Cala Bonita is a traditional Ibicencan chiringuito that has been tastefully restored using all-natural materials to create an inviting rustic atmosphere. Its menu applies a present-day approach to Mediterranean cuisine using plenty of locally sourced ingredients. Add to that a resident DJ laying down a soulful Balearic soundtrack and there’s no question Cala Bonita is the ideal hangout for lazing away hot summer days by the sea.

ChezzGerdi Formentera

From its home at the end of the beach promenade in the buzzing resort of Es Pujols, ChezzGerdi caters to all tastes with its peerless blend of stunning sea views, fine food, comprehensive amenities and super-friendly vibes. ChezzGerdi’s menu features lots of classic Spanish and Italian dishes in addition to a seductive range of South American and Asian fusion food. Cala Gracioneta

Opens Friday 1 April

Situated in an idyllic cove just minutes away from the bustling town of San Antonio, Cala Gracioneta has carved out quite a name for itself in the two decades since it opened. Its menu offering Mediterranean cuisine—including what’s reputed to be the island’s finest paella—pasta dishes and delicious, fresh salads is hugely popular with foodies who enjoy fine dining on its shaded terraces. As far as possible, the produce is locally sourced and ecological. Its enviable location means it’s also the ideal spot to sip sangria or savour a cocktail at sunset.

CBbC Ibiza

The crème de la crème of beach bars on the west coast of Ibiza, Cala Bassa's CBbC offers a matchless range of eating experiences and amenities. Tropicana Ibiza Beach Club

Tanit Beach Ibiza

Beso Beach

Opens Thursday 28 April

Bohemian beach club Beso Beach will open once again on Salinas beach on Thursday 28 April. The Ibiza Jet-set will descend to indulge in some exquisite seafood in the laidback restaurant or on the sumptuous day beds, sip some fizz and wiggle their toes in the golden sand, maybe even take a first refreshing dip of the year. The music at Beso is always on point, so get ready to chill.

Beachouse Ibiza    

Opens Friday 29 April

From its privileged location amid the palm trees and sand dunes at the far end of Playa d'en Bossa beach, Beachouse tempts visitors with its beguiling offer of mouth-watering Mediterranean dishes, exotic Balinese ambience, attentive service and creativity. From its free morning yoga classes to its dedicated kids’ space and its celebrated moonlit dinners, it’s clear the venue’s owners have thought of everything to make your day at the beach extra-special. Bora Bora

Opens Friday 29 April

Located in the epicentre of the action in Playa d’en Bossa, just minutes from the airport and Ibiza Town, Bora Bora is a byword for beachside partying. In recent years, it has diversified to the point where it can hold its own with any of its illustrious neighbours on the golden sands of the island’s longest beach. It now boasts a fine restaurant with plenty of beach-front seating, six bars and an interior club. With its direct beach access, 200 hammocks and 25 Balinese sunbeds, it’s an excellent choice for spending a day at the beach while enjoying the very latest sounds.

Blue Marlin

Opens Friday 29 April

Well established as one of Ibiza’s leading beach club/party venues, Blue Marlin looks forward to another glittering season from its spectacular seafront setting in Cala Jondal. The club has earned a reputation for its fine dining – think Mediterranean fusion fare and sushi – fruity cocktails and attentive service, set to some of the island’s most cutting-edge sounds. Opening on Friday 29 April, Blue Marlin plans to kick off the summer with a party on Sunday, May 1st. Diehard dance fanatics should definitely make a date in their diaries for that one!

Tuk Tuk

Opens Friday 20 May

Super chilled beach club by day and vibrant party locale by night, Tuk Tuk beach club is ideally located right on the front line of Playa d'en Bossa beach. With its sandy floor and abundant shade offered by the profusion of banana plants, grass sombreros and tall canes, it’s a great place to while away long, hot summer days. Tuk Tuk’s menu features Spanish Mediterranean cuisine with the welcome addition of some tasty elements of Asian cooking.
