Where to grab a great burger on Ibiza

From meat-lovers to vegans - who doesn't love a burger?

When the urge for a burger comes, few things can satisfy the appetite for one.

There's just something about a thick, juicy patty, sandwiched perfectly within a toasted bun that makes the mouth water. Especially when accompanied by a fresh garnish, delicious homemade sauce, and extra toppings. Throw in a few crisp fries and even crispier onion rings, and you’ve won our hearts over completely.

Whether you want a tender beef, crunchy chicken or vegetable delight, it's a versatile all-rounder that can meet all our desires.

Whilst Ibiza might be an island known for its traditional Mediterranean cuisine and fusion styles, there's still plenty of room for the humble (and the not-so-humble) burger. Plain and simple or bells and whistles, the restaurants of Ibiza are here to serve you.

Without further ado, here are our top picks for those meaty mountains and perfect veggie patties. For a complete list, head to our burgers home page.

666 La Buena Muerte

In both San Antonio Bay and Figueretas, not far from the beach

666 Ryans - Received 04 2024

It can get hot in the kitchen, but at 666 La Buena Muerte, at Ryan’s Ibiza Apartments in Figueretas, and 666 restaurant at Ryan Lolas Ibiza in San Antonio Bay, their eternal fiery furnace has the chef's hot under the collar.

The vast range of voodoo-inspired smash burgers has gathered many devotees, even making them finalists in the ranking of the third edition of the Spanish Burger Championship.

However, it's the meaty patty, topped with slow-smoked beef rib, Applewood cheese, and BBQ mayo of the Lucifer that normally calls us to the gates of burger heaven - or hell - the loudest.

The Skinny Kitchen

In San Antonio and Figueretas, on the seafront promenade

Skinny Kitchen - received 05 2025

With beautiful views across Figueretas bay, The Skinny Kitchen is a light-filled restaurant with a pretty, open terrace that keeps you well fed from morning until late afternoon. All their dishes are beautiful, not just to look at but also to eat, and this also covers their special SK Smash Burgers.

Smashed in two varieties, both meat eaters and veggies will be happy here. You certainly won’t be hungry after the two-smash beef or veggie patties, with American cheese, salad garnish, and a good dollop of their secret sauce. All served with skinny, crunchy, seasoned fries.

If you’re in San Antonio, check out their port-side location also.

Chimichurri

On the road between San José and San Antonio

Chimichurri review 2025 Pete

Chimichurri and its famed Argentinian grill are renowned across the island, with both residents and holidaymakers alike. The full menu is a carnivore's paradise, but we’re here to talk about the burger.

Barely contained within the toasted brioche bun, the 220-gram homemade beef burger is a juicy meat mountain you must grant yourself enough time to successfully conquer.

Stacked high and crammed with all the necessary fillings - no skimping on the cheddar cheese here - it's served alongside crunchy onion rings and fancy fluted chips.

Mira Lounge

San Miguel

Mira Lounge received 2026

As the sun begins to dip, head to the village of San Miguel where the arty cocktail lounge/restaurant Mira Lounge specialises in an unbeatable combination: a burger paired with an ice-cold beer.

Quite possibly the island's finest burger, it is served in a pillowy bun inspired by Vietnamese bánh bao, with daikon pickles, mango, sriracha mayo on a potato bun with homemade fries. It's good to know they also have an exquisite, vegan, mushroom version on their menu.

EsBirra

Es Caná, near the Punta Arabí Hippy Market

Es Birra - Peter Young - 2021

Located next to the famous Punta Arabí hippy market in Es Caná, EsBirra is a north-island favourite. Its laidback, open terrace is often bustling with holidaymakers and locals all keen to grab a bite of their affordable menu.

There’s much to choose from, but you really can't go wrong with any of the half-dozen burger choices. Each comes with a chunky 200-gram patty of meat or plant-based alternative.

We wager you'll "umm" and "ahhh" over the American burger or crispy chicken, but we're partial to the 'Special' with its hunky Argentinian patty, rustic potatoes and chimichurri sauce. There'll be no growling stomachs after this one.

The Kitchen 62

San Antonio Bay

Kitchen 62 Taken from website

Sporting the Balearic Islands Best Burger award (2022–2023) and landing a Top 10 spot in the Spanish Burger Awards in the same period, The Kitchen 62 is not a joint to miss. The menu covers all the classics, plus dry-aged patties for those after an extra hit of beefiness. However, it's their signature burger, the Lotus Dry Aged, that we’re here to talk about.

Imagine a juicy 40-day-aged beef patty, dripping with melted cheddar, smoky bacon jam, along with, wait for it, a supersweet lotus biscuit spread on top. Not only that, but a crunchy lotus biscuit sticks proudly from the bun. A true showstopper.

Project Social

Santa Eulalia, near the Marina

Project Social taken from Instagram

A vibrant and lively restaurant, Project Social is a fantastic street-food-style venue just a few steps from the pretty Santa Eulalia marina.

The word ‘craft’ runs through the menu here, from beers to burgers, to a pretty epic vegetarian and vegan menu. Of the seven meatless masterpieces (there are even more food options in the rest of the menu), the ‘Pulled Jack’ certainly stands out.

Made with fully-flavoured, barbecue-pulled jackfruit, with creamy coleslaw and gherkins, served in a 100% spelt bun. Could it be enough to drag meat eaters to the dark side? We reckon so.

Can Garage

On the road to Santa Eulalia

Can Garage

The barbecue and motorcycling enthusiasts at Can Garage near Santa Eulalia are the next contenders to throw their hats into the best burger ring.

By smoking the meat on their custom cooker - a very impressive piece of kit - they give every meaty masterpiece a signature ‘Can Garage’ flavour. One that really can't be replicated anywhere else.

One of our favourites, the Tipsy Texan, with its slow-cooked pulled pork and lashings of BBQ sauce. Take a deep breath of those aromas as you not only try to work out how they cram that all into the bun, but how you’ll fit it all in your mouth.

Luckily, the usual dining etiquette goes out the window when it comes to these towering burgers. So put your knife and fork down and get stuck right in. No judgment here.

Maneki

Cala Llonga, not far from the beach

Maneki taken from website

Successfully attaining a perfect balance between Asian-inspired cuisine and succulent burgers, Maneki is a vibrant and vibey restaurant in Cala Llonga, with an uber-cool attitude to boot.

Easy to spot, the brightly coloured decor is as much fun as the lovely staff who look after you. Always helpful, you can ask for their suggestions, but there’s one burger we would like to personally recommend.

The Canibal Lecter is as intimidating as it sounds. Comprising of an 180g Angus beef patty, with cheddar cheese, caramelised onion, crispy bacon, and a grilled egg. Then to top it off, the special homemade sauce. Yum.

Wild Beets

Santa Gertrudis village

Wild Beets taken from Instagram

Right in the centre of Ibiza, Wild Beets is a vegan’s paradise. Its plant-based menu focuses on seasonal, organic and fresh produce, making every meal burst with nutrition and flavour.

The Green Burger is this summer's hot vegetarian contender. Made with chickpeas, peas and herbs and topped off with roasted aubergine, tahini, pickles, and a side of potatoes.

Handmade by attentive staff who ensure the restaurant's ethos and energy are crafted into every delicious plate.

Bambuddha

On the road from Ibiza to San Juan

Bambuddha review 2025

Before we go, we've one small but important secret to share. While you will likely know Bambuddha and its signature ‘MediterrAsian’ menu, you may not have considered that a burger would feature on it, or get the shoutout we are about to give.

Despite being of the smaller variety, the Wagyu burger is unbelievably big on taste. Light and airy, the Bao bun is like a cloud that holds the rich, buttery Wagyu meat between it. The added pickled cucumber and sticky, sweet and spicy Zhong sauce turned this into a clear winner.

What a delicious delight.
