As our big discos finally close, those looking for an alternative to 'chunga, chunga, chunga', as the disco rhythm is known locally, will be pleased to hear about a winter Rock festival taking place. Promotor Dani Becerra, with the financial support of San Jose council, is planning a series of concerts in the Garbi Disco in Playa den Bossa. Antonio Orozco, the Andalucian singer, will kick off proceedings on October 12 (entry 15 €), then on 26th October we have the 3rd Festival of Ibicencan Rock, with West (the artists formerly known as Gaia) and Snowmen Circus (3 €). Seguridad Social 16th November, and La Caja de Pandora 30th November, both 15 € entry, complete the festival. Let's rock!
