Ibiza Gay Pride

Ibiza's long standing gay scene attracts visitors from all over the world to enjoy its sense of fun and freedom. Big events like Gay Pride draw not only people from the LGBT community but others who just want to enjoy the atmosphere and show.

Ibiza Gay Pride has now firmly re-established itself as an important date in the European gay calendar. In 2018 it returns from 13-16 June with a four day extravaganza featuring concerts and festivals and events.

The pride parade, called the Great March for LGTBIQ Rights, takes place on 16 June, the last day of the event from 19:00 till midnight in the streets of Ibiza Town, followed by the Main Party at B12.

On the day of the march, you will see floats of fabulous drag queens, hunky men in Robocop costumes plus colour and magic everywhere. It ends in the port where a gay rights' statement is read out, this year focussing on the themes of acceptance of diversity and the struggle for equality.

A pre-Pride party takes place on 9 June at B12 then there will be fun in the streets the following week, when the event officially starts on 12 June. Highlights include a special navy night and a sexy fetish night - and yes, you are invited to dress up!

This year, several guest artists feature, with lesbian painter La Rouge and her paintings themed around women's fantasies. There's a gay cinema night and the fabulous Flamingo Boat Party too, plus lots of ways to spend the gayest four days ever.

The full programme of activities and details on the Great March for LGTBIQ Rights can be found on the Ibiza Gay Pride website.
