The 'Temporada de Danza de Ibiza', or Ibiza Dance Season, returns this fall to celebrate its fifth edition during the months of September and October in the auditorium of the Cultural Center of Cas Serres, in Ibiza town.

From 16 September to 18 November, you'll be able to enjoy dance spectacles of very different styles, from Spanish dance, contemporary, tap or flamenco to shows designed for children, though almost all of them are dedicated to all audiences. 

This year's programme is: 

  • Friday 16 September, 20:00 h: "Ballar és cosa de llibres", by Pere Faura, for children from 6 years old.
  • Sunday 18 September, 11:00 h: "Malebable", by the company Helena Lizari, for children from 0 to 5 years old, followed by a family workshop included in the price. 
  • Friday 23 September, 17:00 h: "Ehuna", by Teatro Paraíso, for children from 1 to 5 years old. 
  • Saturday 1 October, 20:00 h: "Sumari de memòries i cicatrius", by UNUM Project, from 18 years old. Tap dance, electronic music and motion graphics show.
  • Saturday 8 October, 19:30 h: "Antípodas", by Florencia Oz, for all audiences. Contemporary flamenco.  
  • Saturday 15 October, 20:00 h: "Devenir", by Fritsch Company, for ages 10 and up. Inclusive dance.
  • Sunday 23 October, 19:00 h: "Bach", by Mal Pelo, for all audiences. Contemporary dance. 
  • Friday 28 October, 19:30 and 21:00 h: "TRES", by Ballet Triádico, by Taiat Dansa, for all audiences. Avant-garde show that takes place inside a semi-sphere, where the audience sits on the ground. With projections, light games and objects that invade the space.
  • Sunday 30 October, 19:00 h: "Romances, cantares y decires", by Nieves Portas and Antic Balàfia Ensemble, for all audiences. Tribute to Spanish music and dance.
  • Friday 18 November, 20:00 h: "Daño", by Alejandro Rodríguez, for all audiences. Flamenco, which also features poems sung by Laura Vital accompanied by the guitar of David Caro.

Advance tickets cost 8 euros, 12 euros at the door. 
As every year, there are also subscriptions: 2 different shows cost 11'20 €, 5 shows 26 € and 7 or more shows 4'80 € (price per ticket).
