Every year on 16 July, Ibiza holds its festival in honour of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of seamen.
Events take place in several of the island's locations, including Ibiza, San Antonio, Es Cubells and Portinatx, with mass, sea processions and music.

In 2026, the main events and the procession take place on Sunday 19 July.
The popular foam party and the large Portinatx Party on the beach won't happen in 2026, but should happen again in 2027.
