The night of the 12th will be the peak of the Perseid meteor shower and you could see between 50 and 100 shooting stars per hour.
Enjoy this amazing meteor shower with Ibiza Walking Association. Friday night at 21:30 h. they will meet at the church in San José and walk in the darkness to one of the coolest viewpoints on the island - the derelict 'Festival Club' - where the old seats will give us some comfort as we gaze upwards and watch shooting stars dart across the sky.
The walk is short and easy with two hills.
30mins to get to the viewpoint.
1 hour or more star gazing.
30mins to return to San José.
Suggested 5 euros donation per person, What will remain from covering costs will be donated to Care 4 Cats fund for starting Eivissa Animal Centre.
