The month of August is the time for the small and beautiful village of San Agustín to celebrate its patron saint on 28 August. These fiestas are very popular for their great atmosphere.

The celebration runs from 21 August to 18 September and the programme of festivities of San Agustín includes activities and workshops for children, live music performances and parties for the whole family.

Some Highlights:

Friday 28 August

  • 19:00 - Sung Mass by the Cor de Sant Agustí, followed by a procession and ball pagès (traditional Ibicencan folk dancing) at Sant Agustín church area.
  • 21:00 - Live concerts: Arredefolk (Formentera), Balkan Paradise Orchestra (Barcelona) and The Groggy Dogs (Seville).

Saturday 29 August

  • 21:00 - Live concerts: Suc i Sopes (Menorca), Wet Iguanas (Barcelona), Mallazo (Huesca) and DJ Vila (Ibiza).

Sunday 30 August

  • 19:30 - Tasting of watermelon sorbet and gazpacho at Sant Agustín square
  • 20:30 - Watermelon Festival in the garden of Can Berri bar. Featuring La Calle and Rock Me DJ Set.

Friday, 4 September

  • 10:00 - Kayak Trip (Pre-registration via email is required, and registrations will be open from 30 August. The cost is €10).
