The month of August is the time for the small and beautiful village of San Agustín to celebrate its patron saint on 28 August.
These fiestas are very popular for its great atmosphere and the cheerfulness of its peoples. The programme of festivities of San Agustin usually includes water games and workshops for children, amazing live music performances -even a live beatbox show- along with tradition and its very own watermelon party.
Among the highlights for 2023:
- Saturday 26 August - Live concerts by Ruda (Ibiza), Shego (Madrid) and Awakate (Murcia) from 21:00 h.
- Sunday 27 August - Water games and foam party for children at 10:00 h.
- Monday 28 August - Sant Agustín's big day. From 19:00 h, chanted mass, parade, traditional dances and live performances by Aiyé Batucada (Ibiza), Bratia (Barcelona), MFC Chicken (London) and La Ganga Calé (Madrid).
- Friday 1 September - Watermelon Party at Bar Can Berri from 21:00 h.
- Saturday 2 September - Giant wooden games for children from 18:00 h.
