Amnesia has just announced that its opening party will be held on Saturday the 9th June this summer. The highly anticipated party unveiled its fierce line-up this morning which includes some of the biggest names from around the globe. As one of the top parties to mark the start of the season each year the Amnesia opening is a must attend party and this year we are given even more reasons to go.
The Terrace room is being taken over by the Underground world and welcomes Italian favourite Davide Squillace who will go B2B with Mathias Tanzmann for one of the pairs famous sets. Cadenza man Reboot joined by Coyu, Audiofly, Joseph Capriati and Mar-T will complete the bill for what is going to be the deepest and naughtiest opening Amnesia has seen.
The Main room is going to be hosted by Amnesia newbie Sander Kleinenberg, Kim Fai, The Zombie Kids and residents Les Schmitz and Caal Smile
For us at Spotlight, this marks a welcome change in music policy - shifting more towards the closing party (El Cierre) vibes of the last few years, at least with regard to the Sunday daytime programming.
