After a long, hard summer of countless club nights and dance floor heroics (yes – it really can be hard work…) over the last few weeks we’ve witnessed all our favourite parties close one by one.
Some of the biggest nights in Ibiza, including Cream, Carl Cox, Hed Kandi, Manumission, Judgement Sunday and, after this weekend, We Love Space, have now been and gone – leaving us with only our summer memories (in most cases !) and empty pockets (in even more cases !!).
So, after starting off the season in such fine style, it’s time for Space to close out the summer in the same fashion. Which of course means one hell of a party !
On Sunday 7 October, the Space closing party takes place and, just like the opening party back on the 3 June, it’s a grand affair that brings us an
incredible dj line-up, clubbers turning up throughout the day and car park turned dancefloor.
As always, the opening up of the car park is going to be pretty special as it’s a rare chance to get some afternoon clubbing beneath the open skies – a reminder of the way things used to be.
With a huge outdoor stage set up for the day, the car park has more of a festival feeling to it and although it can get pretty busy, is worth the entrance fee alone.
Of course, the entire club is open throughout the day so, depending on who you really want to catch on the decks, you can roam wherever you please...
Which conveniently brings us to the dj line up on the day…which needless to say you’ll find hard to beat anywhere.
Take your pick from Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, David Guetta, Felix Da Housecat, Fedde le
Grand, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold and Deep Dish… to name just a few !
In the borrowed words of the man in the hot-seat, Mr Spotlight himself…..you’re going to need a time machine to catch all the dj’s you’ll want to hear.
Tickets are priced at 50 Euros for the Space closing party so dust yourselves down one last time – and get saving for another Ibiza summer for 2008 !
Remember to check our party calendar for full dj listings or to purchase tickets.
