Oktoberfest comes back to Samovar

Week long event starts tonight at 7pm

Some great fun and frolics are to be had at Samovar restaurant this week as its legendary Oktoberfest festival returns. The event, which starts today, 21 September, will run all week long until 27 September. It will officially begin when the first barrel of Bavarian beer is opened at 7pm this evening: customers will be pleased to hear that the first barrel is being given away free.

On Wednesday 23 September comes the official Oktoberfest Party with DJs, dancing and fun. There will be a tombola for a raffle prize draw and the restaurant will also be throwing a dirndl competition with a prize being offered for the best one. There's an all you can eat traditional German buffet for just €33.50 with some Swabian specialities such as meatloaf, potato salad and sauerkraut. Plus of course lots of beer, schnapps and ‘schlager' on offer to wash it all down.

Samovar is located in Siesta, Santa Eulalia and has built up a loyal band of customers since it first opened in 1978. As well as it's great food, Samovar is renowned for its superb events and Oktoberfest will be no exception to that.

With one whole week of the event, there really is no excuse not to go, so we'll see you there for some German sausage and tasty beer.
