Resonating with the frequency of the planet, Masaka Africana is the ritual experience brought to you by Mickey Dastinz. Taking over Las Dalias and Akasha, Masaka fuses Afro, Deep and Progressive House with live instrumentation and tribal percussion.
Summoning spirits from ancient African culture, including the fire goddess Oya and Angolese princess Njinga Mbandi, Masaka is an immersive journey through art, music and the primal artform of dance.
After throwing parties in Barcelona and Madrid, Masaka has found an Ibizan home at the island's oldest music venue in the village of San Carlos, the original hippy commune.
After looking after select Sundays since February, Masaka takes on Tuesdays for summer. The weekly programme starts 6 June and ends on 26 September. Line-ups TBA.
