Introducing a five decade soundtrack pressed across ten vinyl or five CD box set, this limited edition masterpiece encompasses the sounds, artists and anthems that have shaped its story.
The release is essentially fifty summers of Amnesia history, packed into one soundtrack. Everyone from Donna Summer and Chic to Eric Prydz, Robert Miles, Calvin Harris and more.
Spanning House, Disco, Trance, and everything in between, the carefully curated collection features a who’s who of dance music royalty, There’s even a vinyl-exclusive Maceo Plex remix of Faithless’ timeless classic Insomnia thrown into the mix.
Curated by long-time Amnesia resident Les Schmitz, the Amnesia team and Frederik Emmerechts from N.E.W.S, this one comes straight from the people who lived it.
Every track has a story, whether it’s the unmistakable piano hook of Eric Prydz’s Pjanoo, the deep grooves of Hot Natured’s Benediction or the Disco classics of Chic’s Good Times.
The compilation also pays tribute to the nights and residents that became part of Amnesia folklore.
Sven Väth’s legendary Cocoon era is represented through Alter Ego's Rocker and Extrawelt’s Titelheld. Meanwhile, Cream’s Trance-defining years come alive through Paul van Dyk’s For An Angel and Tiësto’s remix of Silence.
Of course, no Amnesia story would be complete without Alfredo - the original Balearic tastemaker whose influence runs deep throughout the club’s DNA. Tracks like Joe Smooth’s Promised Land celebrating the sound that first put Ibiza on the map.
Fifty years later, Amnesia remains what it has always been: a place where the music comes first.
