W Ibiza joins Ibiza Gay Pride 2026 celebrations with Locomía performance

The hotel marks Pride week with a programme of talks, live art and music.

W Ibiza is a stylish, adults-only hotel in Santa Eulalia on the east coast of the island. Taking place on its Glow rooftop, the programme begins at 16:00 with a round-table discussion organised in collaboration with Ibiza and Formentera's LGTBIQ+ collective, Sa Clau de s'Armari.

Moderated by the association's president, Toni Martí Torres, the discussion will feature writer Casto Divo and Alfonso Llopart, director and co-founder of Shangay magazine and president of AEGAL, the organisation behind Madrid Pride. The conversation will focus on two of the principal themes of this year's Ibiza Gay Pride programme: mental health and sustainability.

Later in the afternoon, Ibiza-based artist Lee Needham will create a live artwork inspired by the hotel's iconic 'W'. Known for work influenced by the light, colours and textures of the Mediterranean, Needham will complete the piece on the Glow rooftop overlooking Santa Eulalia Bay.

From 17:30, the rooftop pool area hosts a Pride celebration featuring music from W Ibiza music curator Neliah Kandisha, Ibiza Gay Pride director Antonio Balibrea and Australian DJ Kat Nughes, better known as DJ Du Jour.

The evening concludes at 20:30 with a performance from Locomía, the group whose flamboyant style and fan choreography became synonymous with Ibiza during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

As part of the Pride celebrations, W Ibiza will also serve a special cocktail throughout the period, with a portion of proceeds being donated to Sa Clau de s'Armari, which works to promote education, culture, health and wellbeing within the LGTBIQ+ community in Ibiza and Formentera.

The event forms part of the wider Ibiza Gay Pride 2026 programme taking place across the island throughout June.
