Few genres have flourished on the global platform more than Hard Techno in the post-pandemic era. On Ibizan shores, no promoter has enjoyed as much success as Outset. Looking to build on those foundations, the party is upscaling and taking things to Amnesia on two Thursday nights.
If you're a fan of these tougher, harsher and unforgiving breakneck sounds, earmark 18 June and 25 June in your diary.
Playing on the first date are Black Traffic, Jezza & Jod, Datsko, ONLYNUMBERS and more. A week later, Dart, Kyle Starkey, Datsko, Hannah Laing (pictured above) and Vieze Asbak make up the backbone of the night. Party figurehead blk. plays both weeks.
Outset has spent the last three summers raising the tempo in San Antonio.
While this year's two dates is a significant drop in the number of events, the fact it has now moved into one of the world's clubbing giants - and in its landmark fiftieth year - is a sign that Outset's momentum is still gathering pace.
Hard Techno has an inconsistent relationship with Ibiza: some parties thrive, while others fall by the wayside with little rhythm or reason.
However, what we can say confidently, is that there are few clubs that are as well suited to fast styles than Amnesia. It really is a clubber's club. Outset will feel immediately at home.
Who knows where these two parties could lead? Should they prove successful, we could well be seeing more of the Outset crew in seasons to come.
