Ibiza debuts worth catching in 2022 | Part two

More new faces making their mark on Ibiza this summer.

That's right, we're back for part two of our 2022 Ibiza debuts with another pool of talent bound to blow your musical minds. Let's show some love and support for these exciting White Isle newcomers, whilst feasting your ears on some of their sounds.

Arielle Free | Future Rave | From 3 June

Highlander and BBC Radio 1 on air personality, Arielle Free has been establishing her name for the best part of a decade. This year her career has ascended to a new level, as she picks up her first Ibiza residency for David Guetta and MORTEN's Future Rave, every Friday at Hï Ibiza.

Though she is known for her presenting talents at the UK's biggest radio station, more recently she has put herself on the club scene map, racking up appearances at Printworks, Creamfields, Parklife, Glastonbury, Lovebox as well as supporting Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics.

A true inspiration, it's fair to say that she has earned her stripes. Catch her most Fridays. BUY TICKETS

AmyElle | elrow | 25 June

Another DJ hailing from Scotland, this time Dundee, is DJ and producer AmyElle. We caught her on a panel at International Music Summit this year, where she discussed the importance of publishing rights for producers. She has also become the first female DJ to front a mix series on Spotify.

After the success of her singles Push It and Feel The Heat, AmyElle released the emotional Need You Now at the turn of the year. Across all three tracks, she has amassed five million streams and growing.

AmyElle joins the confetti gang otherwise known as Elrow for her big Ibiza debut on Saturday 25 June, returning again on 6 August. BUY TICKETS

Ash Lauryn | The Martinez Brothers | 10 July

Next up, we've got for you DJ, producer, radio host, podcaster, music journalist and most importantly advocate of Black culture, Ash Lauryn, who just so happens to be from the City of Techno, Detroit.

Frustrated at a lack of representation of young Black people in the industry, Ash created her own online blog, Underground and Black. Check out her platform, where she shares her own podcasts & NTS Radio show, for a real feel of what this super-talented young DJ is all about.

Ash is set to play two dates this summer at Hï Ibiza, playing alongside compatriots The Martinez Brothers and Louis Vega, as well as Basement Jaxx. What a debut this will be. BUY TICKETS

Woody Cook | NERVONation | 27 July

Technically this one isn't a debut, but what's true to say is that it is his first advertised appearance (we love a loophole!). Known as the son of Fatboy Slim and TV Presenter Zoe Ball, 21-year old Woody Cook is making his own name this year with some major gigs in the pipeline.

After playing at the iconic Café Mambo and Ibiza Rocks alongside his famous father, Woody really has been taught by the best. Fending for himself, he has secured himself a date at Eden, playing for Australian EDM duo NERVO on Wednesday 27 July. We think he's got some big boots to fill!

tRANCE wAX | Solomun +1 | 4 September

Are we brazen enough to use a loophole on consecutive spots in the same feature? You'd better believe it! Trance Wax is an alias of Northern Irish DJ and producer Ejeca, who has of course played here many times. Just never under this name. Let's call that a technicality.

Trance Wax focuses on contemporary re-edits of Trance classics, reinvigorating the genre in an ultra-modern way. Starting the project anonymously back in 2016, he sold out all of his initial limited vinyl releases, as well as becoming a huge success on streaming platforms.

Want to catch a glimpse of the man behind these productions this summer? He'll be joining Solomun at Pacha as his +1 on Sunday 4 September. BUY TICKETS

Wow, that's a total of ten top Ibiza debuts to look forward to over the coming days, weeks and months, as well as others we didn't have the space to cover here. If you missed part one, follow the link for more debutants.
