Back on Duty

The two sniffer dogs used by the police anti-narcotics unit to detect drugs are back on duty after a spell on sick leave.

The two sniffer dogs used by the police anti-narcotics unit to detect drugs are back on duty after a spell on sick leave. Not that the dogs were ill, just their specially trained handlers.

What happened was that the Police Captain's car was damaged, costing €2000 to repair, and an anonymous note left on the windscreen implicated the BMW owned by one of the handlers. The Captain went to court, the handlers went to the doctors with stress, and the dogs stayed at home.

Now it's all sorted out and the dogs celebrated their return to work by going out to a disco where they just happened to catch 3 people in possession of 100 ecstasy tablets.
