Six Senses Ibiza Resort & Spa - Opened in the summer of 2021, the Six Senses Ibiza became the latest addition to the worldwide chain's astonishing portfolio of luxurious and family hotel resorts in iconic locations, and the first in Spain.

Open all year, the hotel near to the lovely resort Portinatx offers incredible hospitality, in harmony with its surrounding natural environment - which typifies the resorts of the Six Senses group. Built in a dominant position on a west-facing clifftop, the resort has amazing sea views across a bay towards Cala Xarraca and the sunsets. There are many delightful coves in the local vicinity, including the great family beaches at Portinatx, and a small sandy bay very nearby.

Six Senses Ibiza has 137 keys to suites, seafront caves and a collection of 21 private villas on an 8-hectare estate that blends with the contours of the pristine Cala Xarraca bay. Most offer magnificent ocean and sunset views and sophisticated, contemporary décor plus all the modern conveniences you would expect from this luxury brand.

At Six Senses the motto is 'hospitality begins with ingenuity' and this is evidenced by the range of amazing facilities. These include a pool area with stunning views of the bay, four restaurants that follow the guiding principles of Six Senses of organic, nutritious and delicious, a 1,200-square-meter spa with magnificent facilities spread over three floors with sea views, a photo gallery in collaboration with Magnum Gallery with 400 images from renowned photographers, a library, a sustainable fashion boutique and even a recording studio!

Six Senses Ibiza offers a delicious variety of casual restaurants and bars guided by the 'farm to table' concept, serving dishes made from responsibly produced local seasonal produce. The resort's flagship restaurant is North by celebrated Israeli chef Eyal Shani.

Other restaurants include The Beach Caves, specialising in Japanese cuisine, cocktails and live music; La Plaza, for alfresco Mediterranean classics and The Orchard, with delicacies prepared on a traditional Italian grill.

At the Farmers' Market, the community heart of the resort, you will find market-style stalls, including a pizzeria, juice bar, boulangerie and a healthy menu in a relaxed atmosphere. Sunday Brunch is served at the Farmer's Market in spring and autumn.

Six Senses Spas are world-renowned for the range of treatments they offer, focussing on physical and spiritual well-being. Six Senses Ibiza houses single and couple's treatment rooms, a splendid wet area with Hammam, steam room and infrared sauna, the unique RoseBar, a longevity club specialising in anti-ageing treatments with biohacking techniques, gym and cross fit room. Outdoors there is an impressive yoga deck and boxing ring.

During the off-season Six Senses Ibiza is one of the top retreat centres on the Balearic Islands, offering a series of retreats from March to May and October to December, guided by renowned practitioners and therapists.

The small beach resort of Portinatx has a good selection of restaurants and bars and many activities are available such as water sports, boat trips, cycling and walking. Ibiza town and the airport are a 40-minute drive away.
