Nightsky walks - stargazing with Walking Ibiza (Santa Inés)

Join an amazing evening walk to a beautiful spot with the perfect view of the night sky.

Monday 14 Dec 2020
From: 18:30

Where: Santa Inés (Santa Agnès), Ibiza

Toby will lead you to a great place where we can lie on our backs to look straight up and have a 360 degrees view. During the walk we will have to adjust our eyes to the dark so we can see everything clearly while our ‘star lady' Etienne will be explaining it all to us.

It will be amazing to see so many stars and planets: Mars, Jupiter and Saturn shine in the south while all of the six stars of the winter hexagon cover the eastern night sky. We will wellcome the beautiful winter constellations of Gemini, Bull and Orion, plus learning all about the amazing constellation Toby discovered: the Milkcow! Armed with general information from the first part we will recognize and name stars and constellations in the second part of the talk.

Please bring a torch and something to lie on, so you get a good view of the stars. Bring warm clothes, hat and gloves so you stay warm. We will be serving wine and hot infusion to enjoy as part of the experience. Please bring your own glass/cup.
