The Mediterranean island of Ibiza, which had already hosted the European version of the event in 2018, is set to welcome triathletes from around the world for 10 days of sports in the Multisport World Championships 2023.
For sure Ibiza has the perfect combination for an event of such magnitude: welcoming people, excellent weather conditions, a stunning scenery that combines pristine beaches with amazing nature and wonderful hotels and restaurants.
The schedule of the competition is as follows:
Santa Eulalia
- Friday 28 April - Opening Ceremony + party
- Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April - Duathlon (running and biking)
- Monday 1 May - Aquathlon (swimming and running)
San Antonio
- Wednesday 3 May - Cross Duathlon (trail run and mountain bike)
- Friday 5 May - Cross Triathlon (swim, mountain bike and trail run)
Ibiza town
- Sunday 7 May - LD Triathlon (long distance swim, mountain bike and trail run), LD Aquabike (long distance swimming and biking), Closing ceremony + party
The different competitions are divided into different categories, ranging from Elite, Under-23, Junior, Age Group, Open and Paratriathlon, among others.
From 29 April to 7 May, Ibiza will become the world epicentre of triathlon with the presence of the best triathletes in the world.
Even if you don't participate yourself, don't hesitate to come along to this great event to cheer on all the participants, who are an example of perseverance, determination and sacrifice!
