Join the festivities of Santa Teresa in Es Cubells, the charming village atop a cliff part of the municipality of San José. Running from 09 October to 14 November, these celebrations bring live music, traditions, children's games, magic shows, and more. Here are the highlights for 2026:
Sunday 11 October
- 18:30 - Orienteering Race in Es Cubells. The race starts next to the church in Es Cubells. There are two routes: a family course with 10 checkpoints and a popular course with 11 checkpoints. Participants can take part individually, in pairs or as a family. Registration is essential: https://www.orienteeringonline.net
- 19:00 - Mass accompanied by the Coral La Encina choir from Cantabria.
Monday 12 October
- 10:30 to 13:30 - Family Activities. The public car park in Es Cubells hosts a morning of activities, including Inflatable castles, aerial hoop acrobatics workshop and children's workshop to decorate fabric bags.
Thursday 15 October
- 19:00 - The celebrations include Mass, a traditional procession and ball pagès, the traditional local dance performed by the Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de ses Salines.
- The evening continues with ‘Hoy puede ser un gran día’, a live concert paying tribute to Joan Manuel Serrat.
Sunday 18 October
- 10:00 - Excursion to Puig Redó. The meeting point is at the Es Cubells car park. Participants are asked to use as few vehicles as possible to travel to the starting point of the route. The group is accompanied by archaeologist Sergio Moreno, who explains the remains of the fortification located at Puig Redó. The excursion lasts approximately 3.5 hours and has a moderate level of difficulty.
Saturday 24 October
- 20:00 - Festa Pagesa (Traditional Ibicencan Celebration) takes place at Font d'en Xiquet, the well of Xiquet, and features games and traditional Ibicencan folk dance.
Saturday 14 November
- Paella Contest at Es Cubells sports centre. The event includes a paella for everyone, music, a DJ and plenty of festivities for everyone to enjoy together.
