The Barcelona-born, multi-talented musician Macaco has established himself as one of Spain’s best-known artists in the field of culture-spanning mestizo or fusion music. On Thursday 28 August, he will return to Ibiza to perform on one of his favourite stages, in the garden of Las Dalias, the multi-purpose venue in the village of San Carlos.
It promises to be a genuine season highlight on the island for his avid followers and newcomers alike.

For those who do not know him, the award-winning Macaco (or to give him his full name, Daniel Carbonell Heras) is known worldwide for his fusion music, a blend of urban, Caribbean and African rhythms with electronic influences. His live performances are known for their electrifying energy and uplifting messages.
On this occasion, he will perform tracks from his upcoming album Futuro Ancestral, which is due for release in November. Macaco is much loved among Las Dalias’ cosmopolitan audience, thanks to its free-spirited, multicultural character with cross-generational appeal.

More than a concert, the performance is anchored in the memory and spirit of Las Dalias, which has been a melting pot of music, community and creativity for over 50 years.
The doors will open at 20:00, marking another memorable date in this summer’s Live Music concert series at Las Dalias. Fans of the Catalan artist and aficionados of this emblematic Ibiza venue will relish the chance to enjoy a unique experience in the heart of the White Isle, after which they can carry on their night out inside the nightclub Akasha from 23:00, free of charge.
