This summer, the adults-only, five-star downtown hotel, The Standard, Ibiza is set to bring some serious sizzle to the island’s dining scene, teaming up with Copenhagen’s cult burger house, Gasoline Grill. Launching 29 April at the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant, Jara, the Danish brand’s first-ever venture in Spain alights on the White Island, bringing with it a global reputation for pared-down, next-level flavour.
From its humble beginnings in a working petrol station in central Copenhagen, Gasoline Grill has gone from local favourite to international sensation, with queues forming daily and sell-outs as standard. Its classic smash burgers have earned a place on Bloomberg’s ‘27 Best Burgers in the World’, alongside viral fame across social media. This Ibiza pop-up will be the only place in Spain where fans and first-timers alike can taste what the hype is all about.
The collaboration introduces a specially curated menu featuring The Original Burger, Cheeseburger, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, signature vegetarian Matr patties, and a one-off 'Ibiza Special'. The latter focuses on such Balearic Island staples as sobrassada and paprika-rubbed Mahón cheese to create a limited-edition burger available exclusively at The Standard, Ibiza.
Burgers will be served daily from midday until sold out, with a take-out option for those heading to the beach, a boat, or simply dining under the stars. True to The Standard’s famed flair for balancing a laid-back culinary style with sharp execution, Jara will continue to serve its popular house dishes alongside the Gasoline Grill offering.
Available for a limited time only, this fusion promises more than just a chance for Ibiza’s foodies to sample exceptional burgers—it’s a meeting of culinary identities that sets a new tone for the island’s casual dining culture.
