Shoes Gone Walkabout

The association of bread and cake makers of Ibiza is about to embark on a campaign to persuade the population to return to its traditional eating habits.

Thieves broke into a shoe shop in Ibiza town's Calle Aragon in a daring dawn raid and made off with around a hundred pairs of men's shoes worth €6,000.

They made their entrance after cracking open the lock of the door and escaped unseen by any witnesses. Our Spotlight news team can categorically deny the rumour that Ibiza police are looking for two one-legged men in connection with the theft.
