Resident of Enrique Fajarnés street in Ibiza wondered what on earth was happening when it seemed as if all Hell had been let loose under their balconies.
They were met with the sight of no less than three fire engines, a local police van, a national police van, and an ambulance, all flashing lights and sirens, and the road completely closed to traffic. After all this excitement it was a bit of a let down when it took just one fireman with an extinguisher two minutes to put out a smouldering sofa on the fifth floor!
