Together with Kendo, Iaido is one of the pillars in the art of using a Japanese sable, the katana.
Iaido is a meditation in movement, during which the search for the perfection of physical movement is reflected in the search for the perfection of the heart and soul.
No prior knowledge is necessary. The practice is free, but you will need a boken. You can come without one until you acquire one yourself. Meanwhile the ones that are available will be shared.
The course is held every Thursday from 11:00 to 13:00 in Es Jardi de Sa Caleta within the programme of Astarte, a beautiful space under the trees right beside the restaurant Sa Caleta.
